I’m honored to announce that I have become an official artist for Rattlesnake Cable Company, a handcrafted cable brand based in Montana, USA.
As a bassist, I place great importance on clarity, consistency, and reliability throughout my entire signal chain. In modern heavy music, even small details in the setup can have a major impact on articulation, attack, and overall tone.
For this reason, high-quality cables are an essential part of my live and studio setup.

As Rattlesnake Cable Company artist Nobuyuki Tabata, I will be using their cables as part of my bass setup for live performances, rehearsals, recording sessions, and content production.
My playing style combines fingerstyle, pick, slap, double-slap, and 3-finger speed picking techniques. Because these approaches involve very different dynamics and levels of attack, I need equipment that accurately translates the character of my playing.
A reliable signal path allows me to maintain the articulation and punch that are central to my bass tone.
This is especially important in modern metal, where low tunings, heavy distortion, and dense arrangements can easily reduce definition. Maintaining a clear and consistent signal helps preserve the details of each note while still delivering a powerful low-end.
